Royalty Fee above 8000m Peak

Climbing permit to scale the Nepal Himalayas is issued in all seasons by the Mountaineering Section of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation. Certain official documents are required to seek permission for climbing peaks. Around 121 peaks do not require liaison officer for expedition. Fees or royalties depend upon the altitude of the peak starting at US $ 1,000 for peaks below 6,501 meters and rising by US $ 500 for every 500 meters.

    If there is any change in the royalty amount before receiving the briefing from the Ministry even after one has already paid the royalty under this Regulation, the mountaineering expedition team shall pay the changed amount of the royalty. 

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu International Airport and transfer to hotel. Stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu. 

Day 02: Preparation day in Kathmandu. Stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 03: Fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara. Stay overnight at hotel in Pokhara.

Day 04: Fly from Pokhara to Jomsom. Stay overnight in Jomsom.

Day 05: Trek from Jomsom to Kagbeni. Stay overnight in tea house.

Day 06: Day hike to Muktinath, back to Jomsom. Stay overnight in tea house.

Day 07: Trek to Yak Kharka/Alu bari. Camping.

Day 08: Trek from Yak Kharka to Kalo pani. Camping.

Day 09: Trek from Kalo Pani to Hidden Valley. Camping.

Day 10: Trek from Hidden Valley to Dhauligiri Base camp. Camping.

Day 11: Base camp.

Day 12: Mt.Dhauligiri climbing period.

Day 13: Trek back to Hidden Valley - camping.

Day 14: Trek from Hidden Valley to Yak Kharka. Camping.

Day 15: Trek from Yak Kharka to Jomsom. Camping.

Day 16: Fly back to Kathmandu via Pokhara.

Day 17: Rest day in Kathmandu. Stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 18: Rest day in Kathmandu. Stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 19: Final Departure

cost includes:-
  • National Park entry permit,
  • Trekking permit,
  • all surface transportation to and fro,
